Come on then name your top 5 comedy programmes, i am finding it very difficult. Especially to put them in order. The definate ones in my top 5 are, The Office, Porridge and Friends, then to pick two more is hard as i can't choose between the following four, Little Britain, Only Fools and Horses, Men Behaving Badly and Max and Paddy........I'm sure people will come up with more to tempt me into changing my mind!

Its so difficult if you had to pick 5 only.

The Day Today

Porridge

Blackadder

Fawlty Towers

Men Behaving Badly
I wasn't thinking very hard when I did my previous answer.  I would almost certainly include "Blackadder" in my top five.  To make room for it, I would like to merge "2point4 Children" and "My Family", but only if the handsome Gabriel Thomson and John Pickard are both allowed to be in it.
I cant believe no one mentioned Monty Python or Q8 with Spike Milligan
seinfeld
seinfeld
seinfeld
seinfeld and..
seinfeld!!!!!!!!!!

have you ever seen Brass Eye?

and ... i'm a recent convert to Seinfeld: always used to ignore it, and indeed some of the earlier stuff is weakish now, but my oh my, some of the later episodes! ding dong!...

No mention of Peep Show?  I'd say Peep Show, OF&H, Phoenix Nights, The Simpsons and The Office.  In no order.
Don't know if the first one qualifies as a programme but they were mostly shorts.....

1. Laurel and Hardy
2. Phoenix Nights
3. Spaced
4. Little Britain
5. The Fast Show

Auf Wiedersehen pet, Kenny Everet Show, Fawlty Towers, They Think It's All Over.....  and of course any PARTY POLITCAL BROADCAST !!!!

scrubs, fawlty towers, father ted, seinfeld and any stand up comedian that happens to be on tv. they make me laugh.
With My Family at No.1 and then in no particular order

My Family
The Simpsons
Porridge
Men Behaving Badly
The Fast Show
Fawlty Towers

Only Fools and Horses

The Office

Alan Partridge

Little Britain
That one with uncle Mort ."I didnt know you cared"
Little Britain
Fawlty Towers
Vicar Of Dibley
The Royle Family
Only Fools and Horses

Again in no particular order

Black Adder

Bottom

The Office

Little Britain

The Young Ones

There are lots that could be close to these - but I can not understand why Last of the Summer Wine is in anybodys list - but of course it is down to what makes somebody laugh - and wouldn't it be a boring world if we were all the same

The Office

I'm Alan Partridge

The Royle Family

Only Fools and Horses

Little Britain

Also love Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, Extras, Phoenix Nights, Nighty Night and The League of Gentlemen (Film was crap though)

why has no-one said my hero that is well funny
potterfan3 - do you really need to ask?

i'd have to say (in no particular order)

Black Adder - 1st series

Red Dwarf

Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps

Father Ted

My Hero

Nobody has mentioned 2 pints of lager...

1.  2 Pints of Lage & a packet of Crisp

2. Phoenix Nights

3.  My family
