Channel GOLD are showing the series Cheers from the beginning... Start Monday at 4pm. I'm looking forward to watching. I remember it, but I was too young to watch when first aired.

Thank you Chris for the link to Soap, it brings back memories, so funny, I'd love to watch the whole series of that again.

I watched Brass which was dark humour and clever but haven't watched new comedies like The Office, the humour isn't the same.

Chris....I adored Soap.....my kids never saw it but one of them bought me a video of it a few years ago......when we watched it the daughter looked at me and asked.... Based on our family then?
It was fantastic.....and Burt as an alien!!!!

I remember the episode of Soap where Bart became "Bat" because he started carrying a baseball bat. Can't remember why exactly just that I thought it very funny at the time.

You've reminded me that I've got (what is probably) the same video on VHS somewhere and (as I've still got a VHS machine) I really ought to find it and watch it again.

I've watched them all. Apart from the clothes , they're all still very much up to date. I loved Cheers and have the box set on DVD. Well written, well cast, well acted.
