Anyone watch last night's episode of this programme? Thoroughly enjoyed it and realised how quickly times change. Tense few minutes for a young girl and I thought "why doesn't she use her mobile". Oops, didn't have them back then.

*SPOILER ALERT!* we enjoyed that too. I wonder if they would've ever caught the killer if it wasn't for that girl coming forward and reporting her colleague who stood in for his boss for the blood test.

Not sure why the scene with the girl who escaped from his car was shown? I thought maybe she'd go to police. That couldn't have happened as she never told anyone? (unless she said something after the arrest)

I think they were trying to show the background of the time. Seriously if that girl has said anything she ran the risk of getting into deep trouble for "asking for it".
