Once again Question Time does not disappoint. What a very informative programme and great to get the varying views of the parties. UKIP rep is just obnoxious but I am really impressed with both the SNP and Green reps. Any thoughts?
I have the greatest respect for John Swinney (SNP), he was an MP and is now an MSP. He abstained from voting on matters which directly affected England , as do other SNP MP's (same can't be said by other parties). He has integrity. I have met him on several occasions and he has been nothing other than a proper gentleman. I thought he outshone the other...
And the jocks should be careful what they wish for. There'll be no bennies for deep-fried mars bars and buckies without English tax-payers to foot the bills.
Can't believe people still buy into the urban myth that Scots live off deep fried Mars bars...it was a laugh for a millisecond...i'm guessing a millisecond is a loooooooooong time in England ;)
I've never tasted Buckie (truth) but it does have a niche market up here...not going to lie ;)
The UK is better together. But any part of it that supports a party clearly dedicated to their bit of it over the rest is not contributing to the overall nation's needs. To remain consistent with that sort of self interest would not be a good thing. It's not being "together". Small parties trying that can be tolerated by the system; large ones with possible influence spoil it and show a weakness of that system.
Scotland voted to stay united but she thinks *** to that vote you silly insignificant nondescripts, I'm having another vote at the first opportunity I get.
She wants what she wants for the Scottish people regardless of what they want.
I wanted to make a reference to caviar last night, after my reference to Putin was ignored… and now there's a piece about sturgeon (the fish) on The One Show, just now.
(cue Twighlight Zone music…)
After all the "mistakes" of the previous Labour government, surely you don't want them in power again - reduced GPs working hours, ran up huge national debts......
