It wasnt famous it was a dark haired shortish balding man who always said unfunny things like at dinner parties etc. The comedy was focused around him. Kind of cringe worthy and funny at the same time.
Aggh I Google all the suggestions and no e is correct. It was not anyone famous at all actually it's the only time I have seen him on TV. He was like a sad loser kind of guy who always failed in social situations. I spent like 30 minutes going through British comedians but can't find him. Aww this is tough buy thanks for the suggestions. Maybe someone will k ow fingers crossed
Lol not rab :) not some mothers either. I was looking through a list of comedians and I saw woody Alan and it kinda looked similar but wasn't which led me to thinking the guy I am after might have been Jewish. .. not 100% sure about that though. Wow if I get this answer I think it will be amazing based on such little information
Stop trying to remember the name and some other morsel of detail might pop into your brain.
Failing that - try and remember
• Was the man old or young
• Was he married
• Did he have a job
• is there a particular scene that you remember
• Dating the programme would help – what fashions were they wearing?
The man was around 45 ish. He was single. He had a good job something like an accountant but he didn't look like he had.
It wasn't a dating program no. He was in a few scenes I saw and not on the same night. I recognised him.
The specific time I remember is he was asked round to a dinner party. Anyway he turned up and he always said the wrong thing which made him look stupid and hence the humour that was intended. But I really can't give any more details. But a few things are coming back to meeeeee!!!!!
Oh wait... There might have been so.eone with hi. Who wanted to end himself by driving away with some kind of Li e round his kneck. .. anyway the guy we are talking about was talking him out of it... wow strange when little buts come back
Sorry definitely not steptoe and son. Nailit sorry it's my fail. It's doing my head in too. Spent over an hour looking at British comedians today. It was really grindey
