Just had the misfortune to catch a few minutes of that ghastly Essex Marbella programme.

What will it do for Marbs as a holiday destination?

Marbs has always been a bit tacky. Cash but no panache. Okay for hen weekends and crooks on the run.

But what on earth will TOWIE do to it's reputation? It's bad enough that most of the population there are English, without half of them saying "Naaah, mate, she was aat of order" "I'm just gonna get me naiws painted, int I"

As we say on AB ... "Rant Over!"

It's not the first time they've gone there, so unless they were the only people there in this particular episode (having frightened folk off from last time) I'd say "marbs" will weather the storm.

There didn't seem to be many other people around.

Presumably an area was cordoned off as a filming set.

What a coincidence jayne, just watching the Manchester Midland Hotel on Ch5, and another slapper from a TV programme Geordie Shore has arrived, common as muck.

Gaah, I'm suddenly left behind.

I haven't seen those.
then there is the family living on the edge of a Chilean volcano, building their own house, and they have been beset with a visit from Kevin McCloud, poor folk (the kids are priceless).
Really can't see what the attraction is with these people, all the women on there are full of Botox and plastic boobs, and the blokes are bigger tarts than the women.

If ever there should be a plane crash their return flight should be top of the list

Marbella will survive, JJ......they probably didnt even notice the creeps were out there filming.......if you ever go, JJ, you must visit Aqwa Mist in Puerto Banus, which is a great club and has a lovely feel/atmosphere when busy and moving limbs.:-) x

We live in Marbella. We have been here for 40 years. We never see these Z listers, or even the A listers who come here. They all tend to spend their time where local residents ,Spanish and ex pats, have no desire to go. Of course it has changed in 40 years, where hasn't ? But it still a lovely town, with some lovely restaurants , beaches and nightlife.
