Where on earth did the BBC get the so called comedians from, I thought they were terrible, especially the shouting Canadian.

And that female impersonator was crap too.

Agreed !

I have to say that I switched over when John Bishop came on. He's become a self styled charity champion....the lines between his career and charity are becoming blurred...I don't rate him at all.
I have never thought he was remotely funny - the poor man's Stan Boardman, and that is saying very very little indeed - he only had one joke - saying The Geeermans .... every five minutes, and that wasn't funny once!!

I like the show, but each to their own
I watched John Bishop's show live last year. I thought he was brilliant. I watched the first ten minutes of last nights show, and it was part of the act he did when I saw him ( the bit about chatting up birds). I can't comment on the guests, as work is always calling around that time :-(
Tried to watch this show when it first started, but I couldn't understand a word JB said so I gave up.
If you were introducing someone new to the show then last nights was not a good episode.
Oh I missed it. I like John Bishop.
Well, I'm from JB's neck of the wood, and now find his humour predicable & tiresome. The novelty of his act & accent, I find irritating.
So do I, I didn't see last nights show though.
I like home too, and thought the female ventriloquist was very entertaining. Not over keen on the Canadian chap though.
Watched a little bit though it might be a relief from all the tennis, Andy Murray is funnier!!
