Another what is this film

Someone please help with the name of this film.  The only bits i remember  are of a bloke in a sort of razor wire cage, he only has a few seconds  to get out, so rushes, cuts a main artery and dies, also another guy is coverered in a flammable substance he has to do something with candles? and unds up fried?

Vague i know but someone must know!

The first part sounds like one of the stories from an old Hammer horror compendium film from the late 60s/early 70s: the wealthy manager of an old folk's home spends lavish amounts on himself and his dog while the elderly residents are left to starve and freeze to death. The remainder get their revenge by kidnapping him and his dog (locking them in separate rooms), starving & tormenting the dog whilst building an elaborate razor-blade tunnel. They eventually release the guy to inch his way through the tiny razor-lined tunnel but then release the half-crazed dog onto him - then switch off the lights...

Not sure about the candles bit and can't remember the name of the film but it was something like 'Tales of Terror', 'Tales from the Crypt' etc. I think Peter Cushing was in it, too.

Eh? Don't remember those bits in Saw... I'll have to watch it again

It's definitely Saw. Good film. Great twist at the end.

It's SAW delboy, you don't actually see it, you see the aparatus and some of the results. It's during the phase of the film where they are establishing the way the killer works effectively reviewing some of his "work"
