Some better, some worse. But like us all, we all have moods and it may depend on whether you're the 1st or 44th person to interrupt their daily lives.
A few and basically nice people in the main, maybe that was luck.
Yes, all very amenable.

Had one for a Neighbour when we lived on the Cliffs above Dover, as a Neighbour he and his wife were exactly what we expected, nice normal people, with no airs and graces, 'Celeb Land' was just that, a World away.
I remember once meeting Charlie Drake and Edmund Hockeridge at the Palladium as a kid some 55 years ago, still memorable ... as a teenager once waited for ages outside a stage door in the mid60s for Billy J. Kramer, the pop singer's autograph ... he told me to "pi** off peasant," some folk are real gits, aren't they ...
Loads of musicians, and some TV people - as a culture freelance.

The majority have been nice - but I am meeting them in a pre-arranged interview situation, so we all know what we are doing, and the parts we play.

Some do go over and above that remit though -

I interviewed Roger McGuinn from The Byrds at the launch of his new seven-string guitar made for him by Martin. After the interview was finished, Roger and I sat in the lounge of the hotel, and he offered me a chance to play his gorgeous - and unique - new guitar.

Having confessed that, despite being a writer about acoustic instruments, and knowing vast amounts about them and the people who play them, I don't actually play the guitar myself, Roger cheerfully offered to demonstrate the sound of the guitar.

Roger McGuinn of The Byrds then played and sang Mr Tambourine Man just for me!

Now that was an experience!!
A guy in a restaurant once mistook me for some TV celebrity. After some denial on my part I graciously gave in and admitted that he was right after all. He was so pleased. I've no idea who I was though...a bit of a puzzle really.

Can you blow a trumpet ?
I managed to get all the autographs of 'The Barron Knights.'
I know, that's sad...
I once served a Martini and lemonade to Miss Diane from Crossroads.

She seemed nice.
I shook hands with Muhammad Ali

I've met and had a photograph taken with Colin Jackson

No, sadly not.

I remember having a go in high school, and again a few months ago when my oldest grandson brought one home from school - on neither occasion could I get a note out of the thing!
:-)

Whoosh!!!!
:-)
Taken as seen ... so don't be mean.
Mike Harding ... never mind who!! ;0)
The Rochdale Cowboy.Given me many a laugh.
Mike Harding is the step brother of my wife's sister in law.
Cupid - my cousin was married to Duke D'mond, sadly no longer with us.
