Watching the documentary on BBC4 I recorded earlier, it is really opening my eyes to things I didn't know about him. I was a real fan of his music but all sorts have come to light in this programme.
I didn't know he broke his ankle in a motor bike race here in England just before a concert.
I didn't realise he remarried claudette after they divorced.
There was so much I kept saying I didn't know that.
All through the programme I kept saying I can't equate the spoken words by Roy Orbison, and there was a lot of it too. Then at the very end they said Roy's words were spoken by Micky someone!!
