Am I the only one who finds this to be unfunny and with too much unnecessary swearing.

No, you're not the only one, grumpy
The swearing does not offend me, but I don't find it funny.

Ironically, the present Mrs Hughes, who does not like swearing, loves it. She appreciates the 'Irishness' of the humour - her mum is from Wicklow.
never liked it
No it's awful
Much as I dislike swearing I love Mrs Brown's Boys....I suppose there's a good reason for that though......I just "know" everyone in it.......♣
I do not like unnecessary swearing and find it boring.
But I was recently on a train that was going to Holyhead, Anglesey, and there were a group of Irishmen on it. This is the Boat train to Ireland and the men (in their words) had had a 'fecking good Grand National' at Aintree, Liverpool.

Eavesdropping ( I couldn't help it, they were loud) on their conversations was very funny.

I find Mrs Browns Boys similar. I usually dislike bad language, but if it is done in an Irish accent, it suddenly becomes hilarious.

Pogue Mahone ta ya all.
Not funny. Father Ted also had some bad language but was hilarious . Both Irish so no bias.
Gromit!....Tut!.....☺☺☺
Gromit, we need an Irish speaking mod to blot out your last line
Father Ted had very clever writers. A class of its own.
Mrs Brown's Boys is slapstick with swearing, funny in parts.
Gromit, at least spell it right.

Póg mo thóin , to you, too
Just watched it. Swearing doesn't seem as bad when it's coming from Agnes.
I love the programme, watch every repeat.
I saw 5 mins of it once and found it unfunny and with far too much swearing. I despair of people in charge of 'entertainment' really I do.
Which episode was on tonight?

Funny for the first two series but then became repetitive.I got to the point where I was able to say the next line before the actor did.
hc4361, and others,

Pogue Mahone, was 'The Pogues' (The band) original name, Anglicised as they were London Irish, not real bogtrotters. :-)

Mrs B's Boys, I've had funnier toothache tbh.
It's boringly unfunny to me....1 minute is more than enough.
I know that, Gromit. :)
