did anyone see last nights episode ,who was the killer?

Good question - I watched it and I'm still not sure! The killer of the first little girl appeard to be the character originally suspected but alibi'd by his mother (can't remember his name, Adam, brother of Frank the  developer). Everone else seemed to have been driven to their death or killed by the female doctor Robert Carlyle was interested in. It turned out she had been pushed on a electric railway line by that group of kids. She had a twin brother who had died, and she had a split personality - half him, half her (keep up at the back) and she/he was tormenting the group about their behaviour. We never found out who the mysterious/unitentified kid in the phota was. That clear?

Basicaly a pile of tosh - another programme where the killer turns out to be someone who is barking mad yet manages to hold down a responsible job with no one suspecting.

The kid in the photo was her brother, he was a ghost! she was a twin and he died when he was four, Aiden Thompson was her half-brother, she was adopted, Aiden Thompson killed the first child, all the murders were linked to an accident she had when shewas younger, they all left her whilst she was injured, she was possessed/had split personality, not sure which,

I thought it was very good, sent shivers down my spine, there is another thread to this in my name, anything else you need to know is there

Like so many of these dramas recently I thought it was far too long.Too many meaningful stares into the distance etc. The whole thing was drawn out .I keep saying I'm not going to watch these things and then I think I might miss a really good one.Only watched that becos Robert Carlyle was in it I mean how many times did we need to see that wood and the tree house .So if her brother was dead and it was her all the time that still doesn't explain why he was in the photo.

I agree, it wasn't very good and it pinched the dodgy photo theme from a nineteen fifties French horror film about a school,  the name of which I forget but it will come to me.

I agree, I thought the first part was fab but things began to annoy me (the blue shoe, the blue slipper, the blue peg, the blue ribbons, the bluebells, etc etc and the close up of people's hands!).  The second part was a bit lame, and it didn't explain why the voice on the phone didn't sound anything like her when she was being the little boy (Anthony).  Also, I know she was taunting them about leaving her, but it really didn't make sense to me that they would all top themselves because of it, I mean be serious!

Surely, the killer (and her twin brother) were half-sibling to Aiden because her father was having a relationship with Aiden`s mother and she was not adopted as has been suggested.  Aiden`s older brother made a point of saying how many men his mother had had since his father`s death.  There were too many loose ends for this to be really enjoyable -  e.g. why did Aiden kill the little girl?

I have to agree with most of the posts on here. Rather disappointing. I also try to steer clear of these dramas, and only watched because of Robert Carlyle (the trailer looked quite good aswell). These twists are just becoming a little bit too convenient. They go too far trying to build suspense and mystery, and then find they've dug themselves into such a deep hole, the only way to explain their way out is to blame it on a nutter/ghost. Way too many loose ends.

plus Robert Carlyle is to weedy and long haired to be a copper. Like that other inch-high private eye Inspector frost, he doesn't convince as a bobby.

Most coppers look like adrian tunney.

 Natalie, I picked up on all that blue stuff quite early on and was desperately trying to figure out why they were dwelling on it and what it all meant...no explanation...???  Was really disappointed.
