bittorrent help

hey does anyone know what is wrong. ok ive downloaded bittorrent, gone to newnova and clicked on a link. nothing happens so i save it on desktop and open bittorrent program and file--->open it. It then just stays on 0.0kb transfer rate? I've just downloaded this today so i dont know anything about it.

instead of using the basic bitTorrent client, use Azureus:

http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

Then goto somewhere like http://torrentspy.com and download the torrent you want. try downloading ubuntu linux or something...

just check ur firewall to see if its blockin it. Also, i suggest u use the best FIle sharing Thing on the internet! LIMEWIRE!

also,torrents wont start downloading immediately,they need time to build the download rate
