Are the BBC struggling that much for programmes that they have to keep showing the foul mouthed Brendan O'Carroll as this awful woman. It really isn't funny and the language only makes it less so,if that's possible.
I have plenty of choice ummm but this rubbish came on immediately after casualty, which OH watches(can't the BBC find a piece of wood to play Charlie,it would be much cheaper) she went out to the kitchen and I was on here.
I agree Mrs BB isn't funny. I've just enjoyed a bit of Strictly, I've never really watched it before. I was watching the darts but OH has gone over to his boring old Kavanagh QC.
Sorry, I know we're not in Chatterbank so I shouldn't go off-topic, but really we have too many channels filled with too much rubbish.
Yes Ladybirder ther is.I like Countryfile,Antiques roadshow,Vera,Midsomer Murders( with Neil Dudgeon though) I'm also enjoying the reruns of Yes Minister which to me are ageless.I also like Only Connect but I don't get some of Victoria Coren's comments at the end of the programme.
Thank goodness there are some you like grumpy. I watch Antiques Road Show and Countryfile sometimes. Have to say I completely agree with you about Yes Minister though, just wonderful and I imagine very near the truth a lot of the time. Paul Eddington as Jim Hacker and Nigel Hawthorne as Sir Humphrey Appleton were just spot on. Irreplaceable, both of them.
