It looked awful, but then so did those awful smocks that women had to wear. There must be a better compromise, but then again, with days to go to the birth you are not at your best!
Agree with you Caran especially as it's for television viewing but modernity has taken over values as far as I'm concerned and it's all a matter of opinion now rather than 'how things used to be' ..better not start on that one lol.
What have "values" to do with showing off ones bump? Is it offensive? Should it be hidden? A bit difficult I'd say.
I didn't see the dress...but even though I'm in my 70th year, it's not something that would bother me.
I didn't see it, I like her, but I think she wears some rather horrible dresses during her pregnancy anyway. There was a dreadful frilly thing the other day. I am in my 70s too, but I don't mind seeing the bumps, but not bare ones with crop tops and low rise jeans and adorned with pierced belly buttons.
