What did you think of Alex's dress? In my day you tried to cover up your bump not accentuate it. I thought it looked awful. But I am 74 after all!

Not to my taste but she looked so radiant it is hard to be disapproving.

I agree Mamya she certainly looked radiant but the dress was awful.
Yeah but who cares.
Women used to wear massive tents and looked like a ship in full sail. I thought she looked great.

I've seen her in the flesh while not pregnant, and she is tiny. I don't know how she's fitting that baby in. It'll probably be bigger than she is.
Modern dress now for pregnancy.
Not a fan but she was looking well tonight and even acting human, going off script.
It looked awful, but then so did those awful smocks that women had to wear. There must be a better compromise, but then again, with days to go to the birth you are not at your best!
Well, you're looking good for your age Caran.
Why not accentuate the bump?
Agree with you Caran especially as it's for television viewing but modernity has taken over values as far as I'm concerned and it's all a matter of opinion now rather than 'how things used to be' ..better not start on that one lol.
She would have looked the size of a house if she'd worn one of those old tent/smock things.

It's the modern way to wear slim-fitting clothes in pregnancy.
What have "values" to do with showing off ones bump? Is it offensive? Should it be hidden? A bit difficult I'd say.
I didn't see the dress...but even though I'm in my 70th year, it's not something that would bother me.
She's sat down in this clip but you'll get the idea.

I didn't like the dress but she looked great.
I didn't see it, I like her, but I think she wears some rather horrible dresses during her pregnancy anyway. There was a dreadful frilly thing the other day. I am in my 70s too, but I don't mind seeing the bumps, but not bare ones with crop tops and low rise jeans and adorned with pierced belly buttons.
Just looked at the clinic and think she looks great in that dress, not as fussy as heusual clothing.
