Anyone else think Leanne's baby storyline was far fetched tonight? Of course she HAD to get stuck in the lift and ........ I didn't think the crowd trying to rescue her acted convincingly either! 3 month old baby makes debut haha!!

I stopped watching it and Eastenders about 4 months ago now and can honestly say I do not miss it. There was a time that I would never have missed them but not now, just too far fetched in all storyline.

Agree was a bit far fetched are there no other residents in Victoria Court they would have heard all the commotion and was there no emergency button, the baby looked weeks old as well, that dirty rat caused all the trouble !!

I suppose it's not always possible for a new born to be snatched from the nearest maternity unit.
I do wonder how many mothers-to-be they have on standby for the show? It must be arranged weeks in advance.

Yes, I thought it was far fetched. Why did the firemen take so long to get there, what a quick birth and such a huge baby!! No cord or afterbirth either and if I was Toyah, I'd have been an absolute wreck ! Looks like Steve is going to show an interest now - what a surprise !

Yes, amazingly spotless floor and Leanne's clothes etc. we all know childbirth is a messy affair, we know it's only pretend but it should be a bit more true to life. On another note, surely Cathy and Brian aren't getting together are they? I like her and can't stand him.
