I enjoyed the series but was left up in the air at the end. What a very strange ending. I wondered whether a further series might be in the pipeline. Any inside knowledge anyone?

If you'd read the novel that's it, everything the resistance wanted was achieved ,the king as a head of state or a figurehead to lead the country back from occupation was no good as he was injured, the Nazi's had shot him [be it by accident] so that would ensure the country would support the resistance more, the Americans are now in the war due to the resistances...

Thank you jlcm. I'm afraid I hadn't read the book, deliberately really as so often the book and drama differ so much. I felt the ending didn't make any of that clear at all. They all seemed to be going their separate ways - where was Archer heading off to for instance? Why didn't he hide in the priest's hole as Huth suggested - perhaps he didn't trust him.
