Good? All they do is boil in a bag, and/or fry in a pan (thank god they don't do it in a sink!), meat and/or fish which no viewer dead or alive could afford to purchase in a month of Sundays, then, arrange in a manner they think is 'arty' (like we care?) and plonk weird vegetables down in foams and crumbs and soils and drizzle jus (gravy) over the lot on a plate in portions that would keep a gnat content but not a real person!!! And yes of course squirty oils from a plastic bottle then throw some petals on top. If it looks really awful on the plate announce it is deconstructed!!
The programme is dead in the water - with smoked hay and sauterne mist nestling on a bed on samphire and chestnut puree reduction.
Me? I am off yo the chippie. Chips are on and they have plaice!!

dance2 - I think people probably enter M'chef with an eye on using what they learn during their time there to go into cheffing at some level as a career. If that includes "fine dining" for instance, then those skills & the ability to come up with "weird/fancy" new ideas will be required.
To the OP, I too have thought from the start that Alison will come up trumps, but any of them would be a deserving winner.
