Was this a saying or related to anything else BEFORE the wonderful show that follows the adventures of the rather fruity Jessica Fletcher? I just cant believe that Chaka Demus and Pliers wrote a song about her...

Murder She Said was the first Miss Marple film with Margaret Rutherford, though I don't think it was the title of anoriginal Christie book.

Hi Edna, I don't know the answer to your question, but I have often wondered about it. For some reason I find the title extremely irritating.
