Murder She Wrote

I used to love Murder She Wrote when I was younger but haven't watched it for years. On Monday I was off work and confined to one room due to work occuring in my house so was pretty limited as to what I could do to kill time. I ended up watching day time tv including an episode of Murder She Wrote. The only problem is that it was the first half of a two parter and I couldn't see yesterdays episode as I was at work. Did anyone see it? Could you tell me what happened please? Thanks.

Can't help, sorry, but your post remined me of a similar thing that happened to me.

Years back, in the 70's before daytime telly really existed, ITV used to show occasional episodes of things like the saint. I was off work one day, not feeling too good, and there was an episode of the saint on. I watched because we had colour then, but back when the saint was on primetime, transmission was B&W only.

So I watched it, thoroughly enjoyed it, but, you've guessed, it was a two parter. I had to go to work next, and, there being no VCR's then, nothing I could do to see the second part.

Apparently this episode was made as a feature for the States, and as a result, they also published a book of it. About a year later my mum came home with a load of books bought in a charity shop, and what do you know, this book was amongst them.

So I found out the ending by the book, but some time after that I was off again for a day, switched on the telly (again, still no daytime telly as such) and gubber me, it only had the second part showing!

So I hope you may be as lucky.

Failing that, try to get the episode's title so you can remember for future reference, as these things, like diagnosis murder, always seem to be repeated again and again. Also, many sites do synopsis of episodes, so you can try hunting the ending down on one of those - I got one for you.
