Ooohh, how GOOD was Afterlife tonight? Great twist at the end. When the voiceover woman asked 'Did you guess the twist?' I was like noooo! Shame it's finishing next week. There's going to be nowt decent on after 9 o'clock when it ends.

Yes, it was good wasn't it? I've been following this series since the beginning and, like most British serials, once they invest the money and the intelligence into the production, it gets a good result.

She can see into the future: what does that imply?

Also: there's a very good critique on "Afterlife" in "Fortean Times" this month...if you're into that type of thing.

Imagine seeing death and experiencing lost souls reaching out to you and it's called a gift! Not only is it a well made drama but it gets you thinking about stuff beyond the norm. I've
sometimes wondered about visiting a psychic and what it would be like but I don't know if I'd be able to keep a totally open mind about it or if I'd be thinking that they're going to do a Derren Brown on me. It's a bit of minefield really.

fatcat, I'm a bit confused as to how this episode finished. My video stopped taping this episode up to the bit where Alison tells the girl to leave her flat. Please could you tell me what happened from then on? Cheers.

Hello Kitty (that sounds familiar somehow). The girl who's flat was haunted turned out to be a journalist who made up the story to expose Alison and her like. The flat belonged to the journalist's mother who had moved out recently making Alison and Robert(?) the psychologist to look like frauds. So, who were the couple that Alison could see? Only the new owners of the flat! Alison was having visions of the future, not the past. Great twist at the end. Hope that helps.
