I'll see if I can get to see that tomorrow on BBC Iplayer.

One of my uncles also had something to do with Concorde ( can't remember what though ) he worked at Hobsons / Lucas Aerospace Wolverhampton.

my bro in law has been a major racer of them and owns one with the original designer to them and Concorde....

No. I remember him saying that when they designed Concorde, the were going to omit the windows but they relented and put small windows in
Saw it, thanks.
Recall being outside the British Aircraft Corporation for the maiden flight, with a camera. But things couldn't have worked out as I didn't seem to get a decent photo.
That was a lovely programme. My late husband and I were lucky enough to fly Concorde, down to Tenerife to join a cruise ship in the, 90’s. It was a flight I will never forget and was wonderful.

The afterburners, WOW!!!

I remember the sonic boom. It is scary how fast time goes by
Great plane, tragically deposed ...
My tenuous link to Concorde is being involved with a noise-pattern trial, using a Vulcan since Concorde had not yet made its maiden flight. The idea was to estimate the noise patterns around airports as Concorde took-off.
When my daughter was 2 years old, she slept through the take-off of Concorde at an air show in Northern Ireland. :)
My cousin was a Concorde engineer at LHR.

P.s. Did you see my request to you on GMEB prior to Barbados trip?
what was the actual title of the program? love to watch that, I've been on it, magnificent plane.
For Scots and North Englanders there's a Concorde on display at the Museum of Flight at East Fortune, not far from Edinburgh.
Good day out.

One of my regrets is not flying on Concorde.
Never going on Concorde is a big regret of mine. To experience air travel at 60,000ft, being above the weather and able to see the curvature of the Earth, is something I will now only ever experience in my imagination.
Alternatively, if you fancy a trip and want to see it alongside its (inferior) rival, have a look here

Mr Cake was quite the grumpy git after flying on Concorde. No wash bag thingy (he went without a wash bag, hence his ire) and cramped seating.
