whiskeyron - //Well as she is a Lesbian I find it astonishing that she allows Herself to even touch a man ( no way would you ever find me dancing with a man). Perhaps I'm on another planet but I do not understand her differing values. Someone please explain. //
In the absence of an authority - i.e. a gay AB'er - I would suggest Ron that homosexuality does not require a strong aversion to a member of the opposite sex.
There may be some gay women who profess themselves to be 'man haters' - but that is down to their personality, not their orientation.
Most gay people interact perfectly happily with members of the opposite gender - women in particular often enjoy the company of gay men because they know they can relax completely because a gay man will never have any 'agenda' in terms of making the relationship sexual, so they can be honest in conversation in a way that they often cannot with a straight man.
You need to relax - just because you are a man doesn't mean that all gay men will have an instant and unstoppable sexual desire to pin you against a wall and ravage you. Like most straight men, you are perfectly safe!!
This OP obviously doesn't understand that being gay doesn't mean that you hate the opposite sex , or find them repulsive. Perhaps on his planet, things are different.
well richard coles managed to dance with a woman. Judge rinder managed to dance with a woman. well done them, it must be very very very hard for them to stand next to someone of the opposite sex
I think there are two reasons, Foxlee.......many men really can't believe that a woman can be more attracted to....and fall in love with....another woman when "a man like me" is available....
And, from what I read on Ab these days, men are fascinated by a lesbian but just can't see past the sex bit......though of course, sadly, that could be the fascination for them......x
The point I was making was to wonder why whiskeryron has posed this question? I don't remember ever reading in all the series of Strictly when there have been many gay men celebrities - why isn't 'so and so' dancing with a man instead of a woman?
That's what I was trying to answer, Foxlee.......this fascination (for whatever reason) with gay women.....and no questions like this about gay men.....
Not that there should....in a nice world....be any questions at all......x
I confess to sharing much of the bewilderment on this one, I manage to shop, take transport, attend medical appointments and so on without ever once considering the sexual leanings of those I encounter - less still what they did last night under the covers.
