I have just watched a marvelous programme, all about trees, with the sublime Judi Dench....I would like to recommend it to everyone !

I first saw Dame Judi nearly 30 years ago, on the South Bank, where she played Ophelia. I was smitten then and I remain entirely smitten today.

I forgot to add, that I literally bumped into her on the South Bank that summer, all my own fault, and she was entirely gracious.

It was a lovely programme. I noticed she was holding on to someone most of the time though. I think she's got macular degeneration which is so dreadfully sad. A very gracious lady as you say Mikey.
