Transformation Street?

Saw this last night and it was interesting.
As the title is an obvious pun on Coronation Street it got me wondering when if ever, the 'Soaps' will have story lines about characters who decide they have been 'born into the wrong gender' and decide to transition.
Which characters in the best known 'soaps' do you think should be transitioned?
