Just watched this. It was fascinating. They were really brave to have so much shown on tv. I must admit to hiding behind a cushion during some of the operations.
Some of the male to females made beautiful women in the end. But some we saw briefly would really struggle.

There was one male transgender to female who really didn't look feminine, he was given a lesson in makeup. The difference was fantastic.
