Can anyone tell me the name of the show'film in which a girl thinks her fiance has insulted her father, when in fact she misheard him and what he said was innocent. The plot was based around this misunderstanding. Thanks.

"Coupling"? A series revolving around the lives of 6 friends. 3 girls, 3 boys...original huh?

Yet I believe this "mis-heard insult" maybe the premise for one or two (hundred) films.

Thanks. I had thought it was Coupling but my partner disagreed, though like you, said it could be anything, being a common situation! He also thought it might have been The Worst Week of My Life, which was recently repeated, but missed it this time around.
