Sky News Has Disappeared

Tonight, having had a message saying I need to rescan to be able to watch BBC4 HD after the 17th Jan, I did so, and now it seems Sky News has disappeared from Channel 132 on Freeview. Anybody know where it's gone, or why?

Found it - it has moved to 233, for some reason

Sometimes when you rescan your Freeview box, due to the signal being weaker at times, it is easy for channels to get mixed up and appear on other channel numbers....in some cases you can lose them totally.....if you do always see if you can rescan preferably during daytime hours as signals seem to be stronger then.

Channel numbers often change.

On my last rescan I found that BBC News on standard definition has moved from 130 to 231, probably at the same time as Sky News..

I do wish that +1 channels were next to their parent channel, eg Channel 4 and Channel 4 +1 were next to each other. When I realise that something has already started I spend ages looking for the +1 to watch it.

If your TV allows it, you can create a favourites list or profile. In that you can put your choices and re- order them to a more logical sequence.
