Today, first case......two Gays, drag artists squabbling over a dress, with gay Judge Rinder in charge.........all Gays.
The disgusting bit: he involved, embarrassed and in my opinion made thew "bouncer" very uncomfortable on TV by saying that polka dot dresses were not for him (the bouncer)
He, the bouncer was clearly uncomfortable.
That was unnecessary in my opinion and showed poor judgement and taste.

What exactly is a 'bouncer' in this context and what was said to humiliate him/her? I have only watched this programme once, and never again. In any case, Rinder is not a real judge but a criminal law QC.

The 'Bouncer' is a beefy guy in a smart suit who stands to the side of the 'court'. I suppose he's there just in case the Plaintiff and Defendent decide to start punching each other.......he performs a similarnon-speaking function outside the 'court' during the post-trial interview.

My comments about the Polka-dot dress, over the page, are the sum total of what was said.

Sqad - I didn't see this episode, but I have seen the show.

I would guess that anyone who works on the show regularly will know Robert Rinder well, and his willingness to play to the gallery for effect, because that is a large part of the show's appeal. I would suggest that maybe you saw more in a simple editing cutaway that was actually there in terms of the court security guard's embarrassment, but as I said, I haven't seen it.

However, I have read your post, and the gist of it seems to be that you see a 'gang' of what you perceive as gay men -

who are ganging up to humiliate a straight man for amusement.

Just one small flaw here - apart from Robert Rinder, who quite rightly makes no secret of his sexuality, you have no proof that the drag artists, or indeed the court security man, are gay or straight, so your assumption is just that - an assumption.

I am absolutely all for anyone defending someone who is being embarrassed or humiliated, but I would need more evidence than this of the 'gay plot' that you appear to have seen as being enacted.
