Agree he's creepy, mints, but just don't believe he's a surgeon - same as I never believed Doctor Foster was a GP.
What makes you think that?
Unconvincing acting
That doesn't change the fact that in the story he's a surgeon.
I enjoyed it. I loved the surgeon actor ( Adrian something I think) in Hustle. Gorgeous chap.
He may well be gorgeous, and I agree he was good in Hustle, but he's poor in this. I think Mike Bartlett must specialise in writing implausible doctor characters - as I said above, Suranne Jones was the most unbelievable GP I've ever seen, and I just don't believe he's a high-flying surgeon in this.
Didn't find him creepy, just felt sorry for him with all the grilling from Bowker - why wasn't Bowker more concerned about the thug who knifed his son ??
Ah yes, well don't get me started on the implausibilities of the plot.....
Yes, I thought that as well. You would think he would be more concerned about who did this to his son.
At the funeral when the surgeon turned up, I would have thought the mother would have at least thanked him for taking out time to come, but the surgeon seemed to have been mostly ignored.
Really annoying tonight lol. Would the dad seriously have ben given a job at the hospitals coffee shop? How did he manage to sneak into such a private meeting on patient deaths?
.....and then it got even more preposterous in the the third part!
