Does anyone recall a TV series from around the 1970`s - 80`s, called THE WALL? I recall that it had a distinctive signature tune which started and ended each episode. I`ve scoured the internet, including You Tube etc. but can`t find any reference to it at all.

I vaguely remember one series called'' Fly on the wall''.
Don't recall the dates but it was about either one family or families not knowing they were being filmed. ????

Sorry, I can`t. My mind`s a complete blank with this, hence the reason that I`m trying to find out about it. What makes it intriguing is that there doesn`t seem to be any reference to it anywhere on the internet. All I remember is that it was a TV programme (a series I think). I recorded the theme at the time on a minidisc player

Nothing at all! I`m going to publish the theme tune under "Music" to see if anyone recognises the tune. Fingers crossed!

In 1974 there was a "fly on the wall" documentary called "The Family"
based upon the Wilkins family who lived in Reading.
Each episode was accompanied by the same signature tune. This link will show one episode and the theme starts at 1:00.

Gotcha!! At last. I was right - it was called THE WALL transmitted in 1982 by ITV. It was about the uprising in Warsaw during the second world war. Curiously, THE WALL brings up nothing on You Tube, but WARSAW GHETTO UPRISING brings it straight up.
