The rain has at last stopped and the sun has come out. It's still a tad on the cool side but with a thick cardy it is possible to sit in the garden with a chilled glass of white. All I could hear was bird song as I watched all manner of birds on the feeders, chucky some corn to Limpy (the pheasant who has a poorly foot) and listened to next door's Peacock yelling at ASBO to "clear orf".
For the first time in ages I cracked a smile. What made you smile today?

Was having a few bevvies when I said to the missus
'I think we are in a gay bar'
'Nah, I don't think so' she said.
We went outside and I said
'That's a gay bar over the road as well, I think this must be the gay bit of Leeds.'
Anway to make finding the restaurant easier I stuck the name of the place in my phone and asked google to direct us.
A couple of obviously gay blokes heard me say
'it's either this left or the next one'
What you looking for mate?
Told them the name of the restaurant.
''It's the next left, if you go up this back alley I don't think you will find the kind of meat you are looking for''
Well, it made me laugh anyway.

Just took time to observe the wildlife in the woods, the birds squrrils etc. Just had a moment of happiness at it all. A smile? Yes. I think so.
