If anyone is, like me, itching to read the book but reluctant to do so because they don’t want to spoil the television series for themselves ….. good news. I am reliably informed that the book covers only the first series …. so we won’t know the real ending until we’ve watched the complete production. Buying the book as we speak!!

It would be only circa 130 episodes RR LOL.

Too much of a good thing for me I think. But then I doubt it's true. Do the producers really plan that far ahead. Was The Sopranos planned to run for as many series as it did?
10 series in all. First from the book then the next lot about June and her story and then progress over time to the trials of the commanders. He described it like the Nuremberg trials.

We have to have a proper ending for June though. They can’t leave us hanging and wondering what becomes of her in the end.

I think she becomes a reluctant freedom fighter to be able to rescue her daughter.

I did read Aunt Lydia does survive and becomes more vicious and hard line.
Its in danger of becoming like Lost though where you are trying to work out whats going on and who that person is and when did you last see them.
4, 5 series max imo.
I have recorded as well as watched the last episode so that when the next series starts I can watch the last one in this series and know what's happening. When there is a long wait between a series ending and starting again I do tend to get a bit lost as to who's who This getting old is a terrible thing lol
Good idea Sadie. All round to yours then the night before Season 3 starts;-))

So Cassa you've read the same as me then, 10 more series?
Yes probably have but I read it as ten in total.

I just told my friend there are eight more series. I think she's lost the will to live ....
How funny. You have to laugh or you'd cry. I don't think I want it to be true. Perhaps two more but that's it.
Oh I'll be back girls, you just wait and see....
Oh I hope so AL, I really do.
I'm quaking in my boots though!
Well what am I going to watch while I do the ironing now?
