I don't think there's any kind of fix, though I did find it strange that the judges got rid of Vick last week. I quite like Stacey - shame she's got a voice that would shatter a glass decanter at 20 paces
I think one or two couples were definitely overmarked compared with what other couples had been marked, but I think Stacy and Kevin were marked fairly.
oh every year there is some kind of a strictly is fixed story....I mean why would they bother? oh and PS she didn't have a song last night as there were no words.
I must admit she had the sexiest outfit last week, and last night she was the only dancer not made up horror-style. In fact she looked gorgeous. It is well known that TV shows favour attractive young women as they guarantee lots of publicity. You hardly see a page of a paper or magazine without a pretty girl picture. So yes, I go along with this theory
at the end of the day, it's entertainment. if the "entertainment" value/ratings would be enhanced by promoting the controversial contestant over a competent one, then the judging will be fixed. it's their show, their rules.
i dont think they have ever revealed how the public vote stacks up against the judges score - is it 50-50? But anyway, how ridiculous - vick and seann were both crap last week an either of them could have gone. Why wouldnt the producers speak to the judges (during any point in the show they like)?
