Friday. Not raining, bur it's still wet outside.
I was on my way to the hospice yesterday, I got to the top of Frocester Hill and the engine light came on. Oops I thought, get to trundlebuggy hospital. so took it easy getting there, my mate, who owns the place, Had a quick look, told me to take it home and come back down in the morning i.e. today and he'll sort it out. he will drive me back home. He obviously knows what it is. so that's today taken care of. So I'll write a load of christmas cards today. So the hospice will have to wait until Monday. Always at the most inconvenient time in't it!
Have a happy day everyone.

You will be amazed how the delivery people can twist and turn through a doorway.
Our lounge has to be stood on one end, back through first, bit of a twist half way, then the base follows.
Don't remove doors yourself, unless you are a masochist ;-))

Nice to be back online. I was looking in yesterday at 6 o'clock, everything was fine. Suddenly at 6.30, no internet. Normally a quick restart resolves the issue, but not this time. I unplugged this, I unplugged that, I did the hokey-cokey, zilch. I gave up and went back to bed. Got up a couple of hours later and tried again, but still nothing. My computer was working, just not the internet. I was panicking, thinking I would have to buy new equipment. Fortunately it was the day my cleaning lady comes. She told me that it had been on the news that O2, whom I'm with, had gone tits up worldwide. Finally got reconnected at 10 o'clock last night. I can do without this kind of hassle.
