Friday. Not raining, bur it's still wet outside.

I was on my way to the hospice yesterday, I got to the top of Frocester Hill and the engine light came on. Oops I thought, get to trundlebuggy hospital. so took it easy getting there, my mate, who owns the place, Had a quick look, told me to take it home and come back down in the morning i.e. today and he'll sort it out. he will drive me back home. He obviously knows what it is. so that's today taken care of. So I'll write a load of christmas cards today. So the hospice will have to wait until Monday. Always at the most inconvenient time in't it!

I've taken my kitchen blinds down to paint under the track, having new blinds fitted. Was too busy yesterday to put them back up. Making toast then, pitch black outside, imagining a face suddenly appearing like some horror film .. no face

I had to google "harling" Jack, not being bilingual myself.

A mixture of cement, water and lime, some decorative stuff can be added along with pigment, applied over brick, stone or other building materials to supply a weather proof decorative finish.
