Any more?
I don't own a TV (though will view the occasional programme when around friends) because I find most of it tedious...endless repeats, cookery shows and reality tv.
Just wondering if anyone is still a fan of the radio?

Before anyone starts, Im NOT knocking TV viewers or TV itself.
Just wondering about peoples radio tastes, if any.
Thanks :-)

I have it on on the car. r2, classic FM mostly
Yes. I listen to Classic Fm all day
I have to be doing something else when I listen. Driving, working, cooking. BBC R2 / R4 / planet rock mainly.
Aye- the radio in the kitchen is switched on as soon as i get up. Being in the kitchen is ruddy boring innit? If I can liven it up a bit whilst dancing and singing (much to the dismay of everyone else) I will.

I tend to listen to 80's station (what? I'm old!) was Magic, but it changed at beginning of December to constant Christmas songs, and whilst I love Crimble (I really do!) I dont want to hear those songs 24/7. I'm now on Absolute 80's.
I like radio 1 and the various presenters
They must do, I'm sure I saw a thread earlier on Radio tastes.

I don't much, prefer the quiet until the evening when the TV goes on.
I have Radio 2 on from powering up the PC until 6-ish every day. I hear it, but confess I don't listen all the time. I just like voices & music in the room - radio's a friendly background for me.
Have Radio 2 on every day at home and in the car. If grandchildren are with me it's Tay FM. Also listen to Radio Scotland on a Saturday morning. Could live without TV but not without my radio.
No Radio 4 listeners?

Must admit, that I cant be doing with ANY noise in the morning, radio or otherwise. Complete silence for me while I wash, shave etc.
Ah, Zacs does.
Radio 4 only. 1 and 2 are carp. Smooth only has five records.
Not much radio I prefer Spotify

If driving I like to stick on a debate...shouting abuse at the radio keeps me alert.

Yes Tills. (Zacs @ 16:52)
Its a must first thing Nailit- it stops me trying to make pointless conversations with Mini Boo who's a grumpy 14 year old and just grunts, huffs or rolls her eyes if I try.

That's understandable then BOO ;-)...
Never miss the Johnnie Walker show Sunday afternoon. Footie on with the sound down.
I listen to it in the car, or if I’m in the bath, it’ll be on in the background. Always Absolute 80s.
Yes. they do. The minute I wake up I put the radio on Radio 2. and it stays on usually until about 9.30am. If Im in the kitchen midday I put Jeremy Vine on. My sister in law loves The Archers on Radio 4 and my daughter in law listens all the time to Classic FM., so yes, the radio is still popular.
I have a TV which I love for the few programmes I watch.....but it would go before the radio if I could only have the one........
Mornings I listen to my lover who doesn't know he is......I'm happy with the music he plays but it's his chat, humour and interviews I love....

Then I use iplayer to listen to stories, plays, serials.....anything with the spoken word and good voices......a great story's a turn off if I dislike the voice.
The odd radio comedy but not if it has an audience......x
