In this weeks episode, a troupe of minstrels with banjos played the same piece of music, repeatedly. Does anyone know what the tune was? I can't get it out of my head!

They made a reference to a song called 'Spanish Lady', so I assume it was that. Not sure how I remembered that!
"Lady of Spain, I adore you,
Right from the first time I saw you etc..etc...
Here is the lot

Lady of Spain

Lady of spain, I adore you,

Right from the night I first saw you,

My heart has been yearning for you,

What else could any heart do?

Lady of spain, I'm appealing,

Why should my lips be concealing,

All that my eyes are revealing,

Lady of spain, I love you!

Thank you so much Alfas and tellboy. I've been driving my daughters potty just humming it and now I can drive them crazy, singing it!
Drusilla,
Thanks a bunch..... Now you have started me off and I have joined you am driving my Grandchildren mad with Lady of Spain....Please tell your daughters....
The Drones Club band was in fact the Dover Street Jazzomaniacs who play the title tune.
I seem to remember in Jeeves & Wooster that the Drones could only play two tunes and I am racking my brains for the name of the other one. Lets hope it is repeated.

Dear tellboy, I noticed Jeeves & Wooster is on today at 5.10pm on ITV3. I know they play the same episode all week, but I'm not sure if Sat. is the first day of a new episode, or the last showing of the previous weeks episode. I hope its the same one, it made me giggle like a child.
Drusilla,
Thanks. Yes I think it is a repeat of the episode we want.
Compulsory viewing for your daughters then ?
I will record it and get a short MP3 clip of the banjos this time.
