Possibly, but a lot less than the Commercial channels who have an enormous vested interest in so doing. They probably funded this book in order to divert attention from them.

How do we know David Sedgwick ism't trying to brainwash us with this book?

The BBC has all eyes on. Sedgwick don't so i'll trust the collective staff of the BBC than some far right author.

Whether you buy a book to give as an ironic gift for someone you don't like, to throw in the bin, or to burn in a huge bonfire in Bradford, the bottom line is that the author still gets royalties. If I thought I could write a book that millions would buy but never read, I would be laughing all the way to the bank. I wouldn't even need to think too hard, just make it look like text.
