Aside from A Dog’s Purpose (which is wonderful) and Marley & Me (which I didn’t like) are there any good movies featuring dogs?

Beethoven
Old Yeller
Homeward Bound.
The In credible journey
and dont forget Turner and Hooch!
I think Scooby-Doo is 1 of the best dogs movie ever.
Rescued by Rover. One the first films with a plot, it had to be remade a few times as the negatives kept wearing out.

Old Yeller.
Ah, all sorted then.

Jurassic Bark
the good the bad and the Pugly
Raging pitbull
Westie side story
E.T. the Extra-Terrier-tail
Woofering heights
The Plague Dogs: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084509/

Or The Beagle Has Landed. Or The Bitches of Eastwick.
A second call for Turner and Hooch.
I'm with wolf - the original Lassie Come Home with Roddy McDowell and Elizabeth Taylor is hard to beat.
Cujo (the cuddly, friendly St Bernard).
We have recently watched 'Benji' on Netflix, probably a kiddies film really but we loved it, but we are just entering our 2nd childhood (late 70s/80s) so ideal.
An oldie but one I enjoy is K9 with James Belushi..
Another not well known one, usually shown on obscure channels is 'A dog named Christmas'. Schmaltzy but very enjoyable family film.
Show Dogs is also a good movie and if you like animated ones you have got Secret life of Pets and Bolt.

Red Dog made me cry the first time I watched it so that is a good watch too.
I nearly forgot the classic...

Lady and the Tramp!
How can you all forget Greyfriars Bobby
