Anyone watch last night's episode. Is it becoming even darker/confusing?

I agree. Can't put too much on here as I don't want to spoil it for people, but that was a shock at the end.

Some things just don't gel - like him having a big hole dug in his arm and the next minute having a drip attached to the same spot, the doctor apparently having not noticed the injury - but I'm enjoying it.

I know what you mean. Like when he struggled out of bed and dragged himself across the ward to get his hands on Danny's tablet. The staff, I presume, got him - and the tablet - back to bed ... and then said the tablet was missing and they were looking for it.

i've only seen the first episode so far but if Danny was murdered wouldn't they have took his tablet?

They didn't. It was left on the end of his bed. Perhaps the one who murdered him wasn't around when he was discovered. A clue there to the identity of the culprit perhaps - or rather to those who are blameless?
