Having watched both the semifinals, I'm not going to miss the final, am I?
I watch hardly any telly. Most weeks I'll just catch up with a few old episodes of Last of the Summer Wine and watch nothing else at all. However I make just two big exceptions to my almost total abstinence: the Eurovision Song Contest and The Voice Kids.
If you mean internationally, in 2012 (in the Netherlands), although it's now a feature of TV schedules across 30 countries.
If you mean in the UK, in 2017.
If you mean the third UK series, it's scheduled for transmission next month

but the exact dates have yet to be confirmed.
The standard in the UK hasn't yet quite matched that in the Netherlands

Anyway, I've printed out the list of songs and I've got my pen ready to start awarding marks. (Anything I give maximum marks to will obviously stand no chance of winning!)
the danish one was nice....probably my limit - unless I can get Boaty to sing in the pub tomorrow night (p.s. - and near him)....in front of Princess Anne and her tribe....He could do the Dutch number dressed as that Georgian 'girl' with a beard that appeared a couple of years ago.....
"They [ABBA] are the only winners to have gone on to a sustained successful career"
That's certainly true! Apart from France Gall, Sandie Shaw, Lulu, Dana, Brotherhood of Man, Johnny Logan, Bucks Fizz, Celine Dion (you've heard of her at least, right?), Katrina and the Waves et al...
