Just spotted a thread about Gavin & Stacey and it occurred to me that I have never seen it. Neither have I seen Cheers or Friends or Emmerdale or Love Island or Breaking Bad or Peaky Blinders … and lots more.

What popular TV programmes have you never seen?

Broadchurch, Dr Foster, Friends , Love Island, TOWIE
bad luck, ichkeria, that's 15 minutes of your life you'll never get back.
Any reality shows, Game of Thrones, detective shows with ‘witty’ names like Rosemary and Thyme, Hathaway and Shakespeare, Jack Frost.
last time i saw a soap, Minnie Caldwell's cat had gone missing

Thank God I don't own a TV.
I see bits of this and that when Im visiting friends/family etc but getting rid of my telly was the best thing that I ever did. What a load of crap. (just thankful that I never forked out for a licence when I DID have a TV)
I do miss the occasional documentary or film but overall, what a pile of pants it seems to be nowadays!

Much prefer socialising with friends, reading, going pictures, or even having a few tins and debating on here than cabbaging in front of the X Factor!!!
Way too many to list.....any of the talent shows....any of the Big-Brother-Love-Island-made-to-eat-carp shows.....Game of Thrones.....any Idris Elba....any Aussie soaps, in fact any soaps since very old coronation street....Dragon's Den, The Apprentice......
The Sopranos. Tried watching but couldn't get into it.
Game of Thrones
All soaps
Reality tv
Peaky Blinders. ( Do intend to watch one day)
It's easier for me to list what I have watched (or do watch):

My year starts with Jools Holland's Hootenanny on New Year's Eve. Then I watch old re-runs of Last of the Summer Wine several nights per week throughout the year. In the summer I watch The Voice Kids and the coverage from Glastonbury. At Christmas I buy the Radio Times to plan my Christmas viewing but often get through the entire two-week validity of the magazine without actually watching a single programme listed in it (except for the NYE hootenanny)

To get back to answering your question, if I've not already mentioned it I almost certainly haven't seen it.
Peaky Blinders. ( Do intend to watch one day)

If you need an interpreter, Patsy. I'm yer man ;-)
Haha..Ok Tone! My daughter was going to buy the box set for me at Xmas. I told her not to as I/we, will watch it on Netflix sometime. She really enjoyed it and thoroughly recommends it.
She's right, Patsy.
All the ones you mention, naomi24 plus any soap, love island, 'get me out of here' and the like, heavy drama, in fact all drama......doesn't leave much, does it?
For me its the soaps - Corrie, Eastenders etc. All reality TV shows like Towie, Made in Chelsea, I'm a Celebrity, Big Brother etc but also the "talent" shows like BGT, Bake Off, Strictly. I have seen the trailers for Gavin & Stacey, Mrs Brown etc and know that they are not my cup of tea. A lot of the popular dramas like Broadchurch, Killing Eve etc are also not for me but I do confess to being a big GOT fan...
tiggerblue.. I thought it was just me! I couldnt get into the Sopranos either. I tried several times. I did the same with The Wire.. everyone raved about it but I couldnt understand the attraction.
Peaky Blinders is a good one! I would 10/10 recommend to watch. You'd like it Naomi.
Yes Peaky Blinders is well worth it.
However I thought the point of the OP was not no much trash you wouldn’t watch as really well known, popular stuff good or bad, that somehow you’ve just never seen, either intentionally or unintentionally.
Yep Peaky Blinders is worth watching for Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy alone, plus the rest of a really good cast. I gave up half way through the first episode of the new series of Handmaid's Tale. Can't stand the misery anymore.
Never ever watch anything with Simon Cowell in, or talent shows in general. Never watched GoT either. Quicker to tell you what I do watch actually.

Nooooooo!
OK so you stuck with it Naomi. Would you recommend I try again then?
