Ha, I was thinking that! I think Hotten (presumably where the revolting Maya was being taunted) is 5 or 6 miles from Emmerdale, according to the fingerposts that are sometimes in shot.

Hotten is 7.5 miles from Emmerdale and not only does it have a hospital but an airport as well!

Incidentally, my friend used to work on the set of Corrie. She says the Rovers Return is tiny. It’s very good camera angles that make it look like a normal sized bar.
