Problem With Tv
8 Answers
When we switch our tv on we get the word Welcome comes on in different languages then after a couple of minutes it says "starting up" then takes a few more minutes before programmes come on. Also after about 10 minutes it switches off and Does this all over again. What is wrong with it?

Are you sure that it is a TV problem or a digital box issue. Try switching off, and unplugging( important) whatever digi box you are using and wait a few minutes. Then plug it back in and switch on. It may now re- initialise and go on to work as it should. If there has been a system upgrade the digi boxes sometimes require a reboot.

Sounds like the virgin box is in setup mode:
'The boot screen at the start as welcome plus in a number different languages and asks to have a network cable linked to the Hub or choice of Wi Fi and on that screen the box will show all networks that box can pick up. you will see the VM hub SSID name and you use the remote to point to that one and then the box will ask for the passcode then a keypad will show on screen and when you finished the box will link to the hub and on screen will be network data including how strong the Wi Fi my two boxes show Good & Excellent and work OK.
The box will then load an up date software and EPG along with all images like channel logos and show images.
the box will ask for the remote to be fully sync and that means you need to press the TV & clear button at the same time and the remote light at the end will flash green and code will be needed to be keyed 0999 and the green light flash again'
