Does anyone know the name of the program that used to be on tv that involved folk on motorbikes crossing a test route of increasingly difficult terrain. ie jumping over logs sideways etc!

Had a really catchy tune too!

It was on in the late 80's and early 90's if memory serves me right?

Yeah was called kickstart, also there was a junior kickstart one too, which had some pretty awful mishaps....I used to long to be able to motorcross when I was a kid but never had the money.....oooohhhh the thrills of being able to ride through an old single-decker bus.

Ah kickstart

they always used to show the goof where some poor kid falls off his bike, into a ditch..and in come the St johns ambulance guys who fall all over the place as well, and cant stand up to help this poor kid.

it was funny back then

Any ideas if you can get the theme tune anywhere?

I thought I was going mad. Can't find anything about it!

Thanks anyway though!

there was an old comm 64 game of it had the tune on it

You can download the mp3 for Kick Start from the TV Creme website - here's a link!

BTW you may have to right-mouse click and save as.

Alternatively, go to http://tv.cream.org/ and seach the themes!

Class!....Total Class!

Funnily enough, I actually had the original 7" of the theme tune in my collection for years without realising it! For some reason I'd thought the B-side was actually the A-side and had never turned the record over! (If you want to look for it on eBay or summat, it's "Be My Boogie Woogie Baby" by Mr. Walkie-Talkie by the way).
