Anyway I am trying (first time ever) to tape a radio programme on Sky that records.

However when you go to type figure 11.00 am - that will accept - START RECORDING

when you go to end recording ie 13.15 - it won't allow 3s, 5, 7, 9 etc.

Anywhere I am going wrong. I have correctly put the date and also AM (morning) and PM (afternoon)

This is how it looks

Start recording 11.00

End recording 11.10 (something like that - if I want to finish the recording at like say

15 (won't allow me to put the 5 in)

Might you be confusing yourself/recorder by using 24hr notation and 'am/pm' notation at the same time. Generally only one can be used at a time. Try entering 3pm.

the spaces are there like __ ___ ___ ____ AM/PM

so I am sure if I wanted like 2pm - I would have to put an ought in somewhere (I don't know)

13:15 is using the twenty-four hour clock but you want to use am/pm so that would be 1:15 pm.

JJ but you said you are using AM and PM, if that is the case finish time would be 1.15, not 13.15. Do you still have instructions for Sky unit to refer to?

it is definitely the 24 hour clock.

like I tried 12.30 pm to 16.30 - it wouldn't insert 6

I am wondering when you go back to the listings of the radio and you try to jump ahead for tomorrow next day and so on. It won't go further than today. I would say that's the problem. Radio wont go ahead at the listings

Try 04:30pm

If the format for the timings includes AM/PM the first two digits must be 00-12. Saying the end time is 13:15 pm for example would not be accepted.

What are the start and end times of the programme you want to record?

You don't use AM or PM when using the twenty-four hour clock, that is the whole point of the system.
