Anyway I am trying (first time ever) to tape a radio programme on Sky that records.

However when you go to type figure 11.00 am - that will accept - START RECORDING

when you go to end recording ie 13.15 - it won't allow 3s, 5, 7, 9 etc.

Anywhere I am going wrong. I have correctly put the date and also AM (morning) and PM (afternoon)

This is how it looks

Start recording 11.00

End recording 11.10 (something like that - if I want to finish the recording at like say

15 (won't allow me to put the 5 in)

Thanks for any help

where the wee lines are at the times - I have to insert numbers (times)
Perhaps you need to highlight and select either am or pm using the arrow keys and the Select button.
jj my last post was No20 on page one so you may have missed it. In lou of an instruction manual if you need to enter 4 digits 2pm would be 02:00 at a guess. 4 digits are required so you could enter 02:15 for 1/4 past 2.

Well - tried the start 01.30 pm
end 05.00 pm
for today's programme so I will know in a few minutes
and it has gone into recording mode and it has accepted the 3s and 5s. so thanks guys - think this should be it. Thanks everybody for your time.
I think the problem was using a number greater than twelve for the hour when the time is am/pm.
So jj the $64,000 question did you record your program?
Question Author
Yes - it recorded - yeah yeah yeah. I am a bit of a genius arn't I LOL
Yes you certainly are, realise you were just testing us to see if we could solve the problem. Glad you got it sorted.

well TonyV - thanks for answering. You may have seen my post re Sean Coyle who is coming back to Radio Foyle 7th or 8th October at 3 in the afternoon. Now 3 doesn't suit me. I loved him being on at 10 in the morning and got on with my morning's work with the headphones on.

What I am going to do now is record him at 3 in the afternoon and play back the recording like whatever time I like but it'll probably be when I go to bed. ie 10.00 to 12 at night. I'll enjoy that. Thanks TonyV for your help amongst others.

TonyV - just reading your post - I wasn't "testing" you - I genuinely didn't know - but all the answers guided me there in the end.
jj was just a funny (?) response to your post @ 22.09 " I am a bit of a genius arn't I LOL"

ok Hun - if you see Ellie May knocking about - she loves Sean Coyle too - you could let her know Mr Coyle is back on Radio Foyle next week. I can't wait - yeah.

xx
OK if it's elliemay1 she last answered a question on 9th September, but that was about Radio Ulster and Sean Coyle so I guess that is her user ID. You could start a thread with title FAO elliemay1 and content as your reminder, she may spot it.
