Book me in please, no wait for scans, lumber puncture, no having to go to the hospital for them and no wait for prescriptions in the chemist either wow also he diagnoses most things there and then.
I know but it's very good. It's part of his character.
It's a village, most people there are tourists, all the people who actually live there know everything about each other. Where I'm from it takes ages to buy some milk/bread etc without being told everything about everyone.
>>> and no wait for prescriptions in the chemist either
Why is that so unusual? If my GP decides that I need a prescription medicine he sends the prescription electronically to the on-site pharmacy. It will be ready for me to collect when I visit the pharmacy just a few minutes later.
A very fortunate village, with its own pharmacy, and a village bobby with a landrover.
Having visited Port Isaac (aka Port Wenn) I can confirm that it is a very attractive location.
I enjoy it, particularly I like the relationship between Martin and Louisa, just lovely. The policeman is so stupid but I can put up with him in small doses. A pleasant hour passed with no stress.
P C Penhale is brilliant. So many laughs. Doc Martin is such feel good television. No way true to life, but who cares! I Just love Martin Clunes in every drama and comedy he appears in - a national treasure and such a nice man too.
Hubby likes The Apprentice Ellie May so he watches it and we then watch Doc Martin on 3 + 1. He moans and remarks all through The Appentice and complains about it and then laughs all through Doc Martin because he loves it.
I love the programme, am sad they not making anymore, he is a brilliant doc and yes Penhale is like Trigger from Only fools, wonder if Martin Clunes can be persuaded to make a 10th series?
I meant to watch the series properly but life got in the way. But I managed to watch this weeks episode and I think he plays the character just brilliantly x
