The upstairs is a shop, selling toys and stuff, but downstairs is the restaurant, which is completely decked out in a rainforest style. There are animatronic animals everywhere, and a wicked fountain, and a tank with massive fish.
Maybe it's the child in me, but I really liked this place!
There's only one let down, it's a bit like TGI Fridays in the sense that there may be a few kids there...
The food is good, and reasonably priced.
Well after a day in London you may be very tired, so plan for somethng where you are siting down.
Maybe the cinema in Leicester Square as it is very famous, where all the film premieres are held.
The London Trocadero is another option. This is just off Piccadily circus and is indoors. It has cinema, bowling alley, shops, bars, restaurants, and last time I was there, some indoor funfair rides.
In fact I have just noticed the Rainforest Cafe is in there, which someone else has mentioned, although it may be busy.

For late afternoon, just as it gets dark, consider a walk down Oxford St and Regent St. Shops should look great with Xmas decorations, and of course Hamleys toy shop in in Regent St.
Word of warning though - guard your handbags and purses, many pickpocket gangs operate in central london, so have zip up bags and keep your purse and money out of site.
